My name is Tom, and I am CG artist. I have around eight years of experience when it comes to CG art and animation. Proffessionally speaking, I started off primarily in the area of graphic design, due to my BFA program being a bit of a mixed digital design program. At the same time I was going to school, I worked on a variety of projects for several different groups. I created flyers, posters, brochures, websites, and user interfaces, among other things. A little while after graduating from my BFA program, I decided to pursue a MFA degree, which focused more heavily in the 3D area. I completed my MFA, several years ago, and have since been working on a freelance basis.
Since finishing my MFA program, I have worked mainly on designing assets and characters for websites, short films, commercials and animations. As such, I work extensively with programs such as Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Maya, as well as other more general applications such as Adobe Photoshop. Additionally, I have training in several different programming languages including html and CSS.
I have been called a productive team member whom is able to adapt to the situation as the project calls for it. I also have experience working with personnel at all levels, and I am able to work independently with great success. I consider myself to be very creative, but also punctual when it comes to deadlines.
I possess a most versatile skill set, and can function well in multiple roles. You can find a complete list of programs I have experience with under the resume section of this website. You may also find samples of my work under the portfolio section of my website here.
